ESCANABA, MI-- One person is dead, following a two-vehicle accident in Escanaba.
Department of Public Safety officers say the crash happened Sunday around 4 p.m. on the 1000 block of North 30th Street.
Three people were taken to OSF St. Francis Hospital. One of the victims—a passenger—was later pronounced dead.
Officials say icy roads were a factor in the accident, which remains under investigation.
Michigan State Police and the Delta County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.
