Missing WI man found dead

IRON BELT, WI (AP)--   Authorities say they have recovered the body of a 68-year-old man who had been reported missing in northeastern Wisconsin.  

The Iron County Sheriff's Department says the body of Alan Kangas was recovered at about 3 p.m. Sunday in a wooded area in Iron Belt.

Numerous agencies and dozens of volunteers had been searching for Kangas since he was reported missing around 2 p.m. Friday.

No other details regarding his disappearance and death have been released.
