MARQUETTE, MI-- One person was taken to the hospital, following a two-vehicle crash in Sands Township.
State Police from the Negaunee Post say the crash happened Tuesday around 1:10 p.m. on County Road 553 about a mile north of Ridge Road. A Jeep Liberty driven by RyleePaquet, 19, of Lake Ville, IL was southbound when she lost control on a curve. Her vehicle struck an oncoming Chevy Cobalt driven by Jamie Little, 25, of Gwinn.
Little was taken to UP Health System Marquette for treatment. Paquet was treated at the scene and released.
Police cited Paquet for driving too fast for conditions.
