TILDEN TOWNSHIP, MI-- One person suffered injuries when a motorcycle hit a parked truck in Tilden Township over the weekend.
Saturday around 12:55 p.m. the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to County Road PBG. The driver of the bike had apparently come over the crest of a hill too fast and ran off the road. The rider tried to correct the motorcycle but ended up hitting the open door of a truck. The bike stopped abruptly between the door and the truck frame.
There was minor damage to both vehicles.
The rider was taken to UPHS-Bell for non-life-threatening injuries. They were wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
No name will be released as the rider is underage. They were cited for county ORV violations.
