ST. IGNACE, MI— The Mackinac Bridge is closed Wednesday morning, following a two-vehicle crash on the span.
Michigan State Police say preliminary investigation indicates the involved vehicles were southbound when one vehicle rear-ended the other. Multiple people were injured—two of them seriously.
The St. Ignace Post is leading the investigation, with the Mackinac Bridge Authority and other agencies assisting.
