Bay City, MI – The head women's basketball coaches of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference have released this year's preseason poll. Northern Michigan University is tied with Grand Valley State for fourth place in the GLIAC's North Division rankings. Lake Superior State is picked to win the division, totaling 33 points and four first-place votes.
Wildcat senior guard Tiffany Grubaugh was recently named to the NCAA Division II Super Sixteen team. Last season, she finished in the top five in the conference in nearly every offensive category. Northern opens the season at Colorado State University next Friday. Their first home game is December 5th versus Northland.
