Marquette, MI – The United States Olympic Education Center Greco-Roman wrestling team competed last weekend in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The region's top university wrestling programs participated in the Pointer Open Wrestling Invitational, a collegiate-style tournament. Assistant coach Steve Goss says although the team doesn't usually compete in such a style, it was a good mental and physical challenge. The USOEC's Harry Lester took first place in the 157 lb. weight class. Lester easily defeated his first two opponents before winning a close championship match, 8-7. Chas Betts and Andy Bisek took third and fourth, respectively, in their weight divisions.
