Birmingham – A survey released this week says auto suppliers continue to trust Japanese automakers more than the Big Three. Birmingham-based Planning Perspectives questioned about 260 top-tier suppliers rated their trust in auto companies with which they do business on a scale of one to four, with one meaning very little trust and four meaning very great trust. General Motors got an average score of 1.8. Ford's rating was 2.3, and the rating for DaimlerChrysler was 2.7. Toyota got a 3.9 rating, Honda a 3.5, and Nissan a 3.1.
