Marquette – Bands from across the Upper Peninsula are invited to participate in the annual Battle of the Bands competition at the U.P. State Fair this August. The contest is open to all types of bands, who will each be given ten minutes to showcase their talent. Top prize in the event is $500. For more information, call 786-4011.
