UPPCO to present environmental study results

Houghton – The Upper Peninsula Power Company has scheduled two open house meetings to present the results of environmental studies for its project lands. The public is invited to comment on the studies, which focused on the ecosystems around hydroelectric sites in the eastern and central Upper Peninsula. The Bond Falls, Victoria, and Prickett studies will be presented at the Ewen-Trout Creek school cafeteria August 7th at 6 p.m., while the Au Train, Boney Falls, and Cataract studies will be reviewed the following evening at 6 p.m. at the Tailwinds Bar and Grill in Sawyer.
