Houghton, MI – Average students at Michigan Technological University graduate with one of the lowest amounts of debt in the country, according to a study by U.S. News and World Report. MTU is also listed in the magazine as one of the top engineering programs granting PhD's. The university was the only one in Michigan to make the Least Debt' category with 47% of students having no debt upon graduation.
