Big Three automakers hopeful now that Congress is controlled by Dems

By Associated Press

Detrpit, MI – The big three domestic automakers are hoping for a more responsive government not that Democrats have control of Congress. Top U.S. auto executives have been frustrated with the Bush administration and the Republican-dominated Congress on energy policies and health care costs. Democrats say nearly 3 million manufacturing jobs have been lost since Bush took office. Leaders of the big three are scheduled to meet Tuesday at the White House with President Bush.
