White Sulphur Springs, WV – The nation's newly-elected governors are at a retreat in West Virginia to get pointers about their position. Ten new governors and 14 continuing officeholders are attending the gathering at the historic Greenbrier resort in the West Virginia mountains. At a news conference, the governors said immigration is at the top of the agenda. Some state leaders have criticized Congress for failing to pass a comprehensive immigration plan this year. Also, governors say the public is pushing for bipartisanship, particularly at the national level. The governors say they are also focusing on education, health care and emergency preparedness in their talks at the retreat.
