Mackinac County, MI – Mackinac County Sheriff's officials are investigating a fatal logging accident on Bois Blanc Island. The incident occurred Wednesday while employees of a logging company were working on a piece of equipment raised and supported with timber. During the repairs, the supports gave way, sending the equipment crashing on top of an employee. The victim was a 23-year-old resident of Cheboygan County. His name was not released.
