Gwinn, MI – A Gwinn man has been sentenced in federal court to using a fake Social Security card. Pedro Garcia, 25, is a Mexican citizen living in the Upper Peninsula. He pleaded guilty to entering the U.S. illegally and paying $300 to get a card in another person's name. He also obtained a false Indiana identification card. Garcia used the documents to get employment in the U.P. He's been sentenced to six months in prison.
