Ishpeming, MI – The Ishpeming Police Department is reminding city residents of the winter parking ban that took place November 1st, 2007 and will be going through March 31st, 2008. Residents are prohibited from parking their vehicles on the street between the hours of 1 AM and 6 AM in the outlying areas, and 2:30 AM to 6 AM in the downtown area. Fines for violation of the ban are $50 per citation. Permits are available for overnight parking. For additional information on permits contact Ishpeming City Hall at 485-1091.
