Four compete for Marquette County judgeship

By Nicole Walton

Marquette, MI – Four candidates are vying to become Marquette County's next Circuit Court judge. Current judge John R. Weber is retiring, leaving open a seat on the 25th Circuit Court for a six-year term. His son, Karl Weber, is one of those candidates. Also running are Timothy Quinnell--whose father also served on the Circuit bench, Jennifer Mazzuchi, and Kevin Koch.

All practice general law, except for Mazzuchi, who is an assistant Marquette County Prosecutor in the Family Court division.

The top two vote getters in the primary will move on to the November general election.
