Marquette City Commission race crowded

Marquette, MI – The August 5th primary ballot will be crowded in the race for seats on the Marquette City Commission. Eight non-partisan candidates are vying for three seats. They include Matt Edgell, Randy Girard, Matthew Holliday, Richard Kochis, Robert Niemi, Mike Plourde, Don Ryan, and Fred Stonehouse.

The top six vote-getters will move on to the November general election. Candidates for the Marquette Board of Light and Power will appear on the November 8th ballot.
