Marquette, MI – The Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced that Finlandia University's 2007-2008 women's basketball team was smarter than the average team. They finished third in the NCAA Division III Academic Top 25 for the 2007-2008 season. The WBCA Academic Top 25 ranks schools in five divisions based on the average GPA of the entire roster. Teams making the list of Academic Top 25 Teams must obtain at least a 3.0 overall GPA. The Lions finished with a 3.571 cumulative grade point average.
