Marquette, MI – President of Northern Michigan University, Dr. Les Wong has delivered his fall convocation. The speech was meant to welcome faculty and staff back and address the challenges and goals of the coming school year. As part of the theme to his speech Dr. Wong says in order for NMU to stay on top the university must remember quality, recruitment, retention and revenue production. Dr. Wong says though there will be challenges ahead, NMU will continue to strive forward. In addition, Dr. Wong included his plans for the "Road Map to 2015" which has 4 main goals of innovation, meaningful lives, leveraging campus attributes, and community engagement.
