Marquette, MI – The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team arrested 6 suspects in Marquette, on many charges. The arrests took place Wednesday. The first suspect is a former Chicago man now living in Marquette, and Ishpeming, who was arrested for delivering crack cocaine. Two search warrants were performed as a result of the arrest. In the search, detectives found evidence of drug sales, use, and over $12,900 cash. Three more suspects were arrested on the charges of conspiracy to deliver crack cocaine and 2 more suspects were charged with disorderly person-loitering in a drug house. In addition, one of the suspects was wanted on another arrest warrant. All 6 suspects were being held in the Marquette cCounty jail, while several other arrests both state and federal charges are pending as this investigation continues.
