UNDATED – Secretary of State Terri Lynn Land has announced that watercraft registration renewal notices are being sent out beginning Monday. Residents are also being reminded that renewing online is the quickest way to keep boat registrations up to date. On each notice is a personal identification number which allows watercraft owners to access the department's online or touch-tone telephone renewal systems. Both options are available March 1st and August 31st 24 hours a day and payment includes Visa, Mastercard, and Discover credit card. Residents may also renew by mail or at any Secretary of State Office. For more information on registration renewals go to michigan.gov/sos.
