Habitat for Humanity raises one millionth dollar

Marquette County, MI – The Marquette County Habitat for Humanity restore in Harvey has raised it's 1 millionth dollar. The ReStore, which opened it's doors in April of 2003, has built 31 homes in Marquette County in the past 6 years with the plan of completing another 5 houses this year. Through generous donations by the community and shopping at the restore the habitat has been able to enhance their program. The ReStore will be holding a customer appreciation sale and celebration next Friday from 10am to 6pm and next Saturday from 10am to 4pm. As a way to say thank you, hot dogs and cake will be served during the sale, which will be located at 133 Carmen Drive in Harvey.
