Input needed on Biodiversity Stewardship area network

UNDATED – The Department of Natural Resources is seeking input in the western Upper Peninsula for a biodiversity stewardship area network. The BSA network is 1 way for the DNR to work towards conserving the native biodiversity of Michigan. Amy Clark Eagle is the leader of the DNR's Biodiversity and Conservation Program. She says biodiversity has an impact on everyone. Workshops on biodiversity stewardship areas will take place next Tuesday at the University Center on Northern Michigan University's campus located at 2102 University Center in Marquette from 6 to 9pm, and next Wednesday in the Peninsula Room, in the Memorial Union Building, on Michigan Technological University's' located at 1400 Townsend Drive in Houghton from 6 to 9pm.
