UNDATED – The Michigan State Police have announced that traffic fatalities during Memorial Day Weekend have decreased. Recent preliminary reports have shown that 6 people were victims of traffic crashes this past memorial day weekend, in comparison with 11 fatalities last year. Of those involved with in crashes, 2 were not wearing safety belts, and alcohol was a confirmed cause in 1 of the 6 cases.
