By Abbey Kwiatkowski

Escanaba, MI – The Executive Dean for Business and Technology at Bay College is resigning. Alan Yeck has been with the college for 6 years, and held the position of Executive Dean of business for the last 3 years. He was given the opportunity to take a position in the Middle East serving as dean for the business programs for the Higher Colleges of Technologies which is a women's college in the United Arab Emirates. Yeck says he formerly lived in the Middle East for 4 years and although he will miss Bay college, he is excited for the future. Yeck is moving to the Middle East with his wife and 2 of his 6 children. He says however, that they are keeping their home in the Upper Peninsula and plan on flying back to the U.P. every summer.
