Negaunee, MI – A Negaunee man is uninjured, after his boat overturned on Teal Lake. City Police were dispatched to the lake Wednesday around 3:45 p.m. following a report of an overturned sailing vessel. The Marquette County Special Operations Division responded to the scene with jet skis. They found the operator and lone occupant of the vessel, Brian Peterson, 61, sitting on top of the boat, which was then towed back to shore. The incident remains under investigation.
