Speedskating takes off in Marquette

Marquette, MI – The 2010 U.S. Olympic Team Trials in Short Track Speedskating kick off Tuesday on the campus of Northern Michigan University. Time trials begin at 4 p.m. at the Berry Events Center. The official opening ceremony takes place Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., followed by qualifying rounds and finals. Athletes will rest on Thursday, then compete once again at 6:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Awards ceremonies will follow the races both days.
