UNDATED – New hunting and fishing licenses from the Department of Natural Resources and Environment are on sale. The licenses are good from the date of purchase through March 31st, 2011. Prices for the 2010 licenses remain the same. Anglers are not required to possess a 2010 fishing license until April 1st when the new season begins.
Outdoor enthusiasts interested in purchasing a license can find them at local retailers or a DNRE office. They can also be purchased online with a credit or debit card on the DNRE website. A valid Michigan driver's license, Michigan identification card, or M.D.N.R. Sport Card is required to purchase a license.
