By Abbey Kwiatkowski

Iron Mountain, MI – Officials of the Iron Mountain Main Street are asking for votes from the public to win $25,000 for a new downtown development. The award money comes from the Pepsi Refresh Project, and would go towards constructing a downtown performing arts stage. The Pepsi Refresh project is working with the goal to inspire organizations and create more participation. The project is awarding $5,000, $25,000, $50,000 and $250,000 to individuals and organizations who will use the money to benefit their communities. If Iron Mountain receives enough votes to make it to the top 10, it will receive the money. To vote, residents can go to www.refresheverything.com anytime through March 31st. The winners of the money will be announced on April 1st.
