Sault Ste. Marie, MI – Lake Superior State University has hired a new president. Dr. Tony McLain has been serving as interim president since last July, following the resignation of former president Rodney Lowman.
The LSSU Board of Trustees voted unanimously last week to appoint McLain to the top spot. He had worked for the Sault Area Public School District for eight years before retiring in 2003. His appointment takes effect immediately.
