Paulding, MI – A Keweenaw County man who fell off a moving car in Ontonagon County this week has died.
Officials say the accident happened just after midnight Wednesday near the Paulding light. Josh Norton of Mohawk was apparently riding on top of the vehicle when he fell and was knocked unconscious. He was taken to Ontonagon Aspirus Hospital, then airlifted to a hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin, where he later died.
The driver of the vehicle, a 21-year-old Lake Linden resident, was taken into custody and charged with reckless driving causing personal injury.
