Ishpeming, MI – The names of the people involved in a two-vehicle accident in Ishpeming have been released.
State Police say the crash happened Friday around 6:35 p.m. on US-41 near North Lake Drive. A vehicle driven by Michael Kopsi, 44, of Marquette was westbound when it crossed into the eastbound lanes and struck a vehicle driven by Rodney Gardner, 57, of Republic head-on.
Kopsi and his 6-year-old son had to be extricated from the vehicle. They, Kopsi's 8-year-old son, Gardner and his wife Linda were taken to Marquette General Hospital, where they all remain.
The crash remains under investigation.
