Niagara, WI – A buyer has been found for the NewPage paper mill in Niagara, Wisconsin.
E.J. Spirtas Group, based in St. Louis, Missouri, specializes in construction, demolition, environmental remediation, and consulting. It lists the former mill as one of its projects, and is selling motors and grinders from the building.
Neither NewPage nor E.J. Spirtas Group are commenting on the sale until they can make a joint announcement. But a NewPage official says an asset purchase agreement has already been signed, and a deal could be final in the first quarter of this year.
