Dr. Erin Colwitz, assistant professor of music and director of choirs at Northern Michigan University, and Megan O'Connor, senior communications studies major, have assembled a program of music to honor veterans on Sunday, November 11th. The choral concert features American patriotic songs from different periods of our military's history. Erin and Megan came to Public Radio 90 to tell us more:
The concert is free to the public and will take place at the Reynolds Recital Hall on Veterans Day, Sunday, Nov. 11th at 3pm. Donations will go towards supporting the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans. Find out more at the Facebook event page here.
