Comprenew@Goodwill to open in Marquette

MARQUETTE, MI--   Goodwill of Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan is opening its first recycled electronics store Friday in Marquette.

Located next to the Marquette Goodwill store, Comprenew@Goodwill will offer refurbished electronic equipment and low-cost new goods. Items include laptops, towers, flat screen monitors, keyboards, and mice.

Comprenew is a Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy registered and nationally certified electronics recycler based in Grand Rapids.

Goodwill of Northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan creates jobs for those with barriers to employment with donations from the areas it serves.

All five Goodwill stores are now accepting all electronics, with a small charge for televisions, cathode ray tubes, and printers.
