This event will be a film presentation of the movie, "Ring of Silence". It's based on true events in the Michigan area where high school students were groomed, drugged and sex trafficked. The Upper Peninsula Human Trafficking Task Force and the Greater Federation of Women's Club Manistique will be hosting the event. Stephanie Graef will be the moderator. There will be a panel of people for Q & A following the movie; the panel will include law enforcement, a parent whose child committed suicide after sex extorted. Stephanie Graef is a well known advocate for victims; she recently spoke at the UN on a panel that included people from all over the world that are dedicated to bringing awareness of this horrific crime and the tactics used to groom children and adults into being trafficked.
