Saturday, May 4, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Calling collectors! This is a chance for you to show your postcard collections, and for the public to enjoy the keenness of antique postcard enthusiasts. Postcard trading is encouraged, and individual collectors may sell at their tables. Attendees will get a chance to view postcards from the Detroit Publishing Company, UP Vintage Focus on Boats, Superior View of the Past, Large Focus Landscape, and more from collectors. $5 suggested donation. First Presbyterian welcomes all knitters to join them in their parlor for weekly knitting on Mondays at 10 am. Knit for those in need or work on your own projects.
This is a free, no obligation event for adults interested in learning to row. U.P. Rowing offers Learn to Row classes beginning in late June. These classes require preregistration. The meet and greet will offer potential rowers an opportunity to meet and mingle with long time rowing club members and coaches, obtain registration materials, and begin understanding the learn to row process. Learn how to make your electronic devices work the way you want them to with the help of Christine Ault, retired teacher and librarian. Call the Reference Desk at 906-226-4311 to schedule your 30-minute session. Please charge your electronic device before each session, and bring passwords with you.
