WLUC-TV

MUNISING -

The Alger County man convicted of running over his girlfriend last year has been sentenced.

According to WLUC-TV, 48-year old Thomas Murdock was driving a vehicle that hit and killed his girlfriend, Lisa Hardwick, at his home in June 2011.

Murdock was found ‘guilty’ in July on four of the five charges against him, including operating while intoxicated causing death… operating while intoxicated third offense… driving on a suspended license… and possession of marijuana. He was sentenced yesterday (Wednesday) in Alger County Circuit Court to 2-to-15 years in prison.

The jury found Murdock ‘not guilty’ on the charge of involuntary manslaughter.
