Wallace pleads not guilty

MARQUETTE, MI--   The Marquette man accused of pulling a knife on a Marquette General Hospital nurse has been arraigned in Circuit Court.  

Robert Allen Wallace, 48, pleaded not guilty Friday to felonious assault.  The charge is punishable by up to four years in prison and a $2,000 fine.

Wallace allegedly pulled out the knife while speaking to a nurse in the Emergency Department January 5. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
