Man pleads guilty to taking money from nonprofit

ONTONAGON, MI--   An Ontonagon man accused of embezzling from Habitat for Humanity has pleaded guilty to a lesser charge.  

Noah Arble, 35, was originally charged with embezzlement as an agent or trustee, $20,000 or more but less than $50,000.  He pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $1,000 but less than $20,000.

Arble allegedly took the money between September 2012 and February 2014 while working as treasurer of the local Habitat for Humanity. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
