Gonzalez pleads to unarmed robbery

MARQUETTE, MI--   A man accused of stealing money from the Krist gas station on Lincoln Avenue in Marquette has entered a plea. 

Anthony Gonzalez, 27, pleaded guilty Friday to unarmed robbery in connection with the January 25 incident.  He faces up to 15 years in prison on the charge.  He also pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor assault charge in a different case. 

Gonzalez allegedly went into the station store to buy something and grabbed cash when the register till was open. 

Sentencing is set for April 8.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
