Mass City car theft suspect pleads

ONTONAGON, MI-- An Ontonagon County woman accused of stealing a car and driving it downstate has entered a plea in the case.

Candi Finley, 38, of Mass City was arrested in September after she allegedly took a Dodge Dart from Ontonagon August 26. She pleaded no contest Wednesday to attempted unlawful driving away of an automobile, punishable by up to 2.5 years in jail.

Sentencing is set for January 18 in Ontonagon County Circuit Court.
