ESCANABA, MI— A woman who turned herself in following a stabbing in Escanaba last August has been sentenced.
Crystalyn Dixie Knuth pleaded guilty in February to assault with intent to do great bodily harm less than murder.
On August 11, Escanaba Public Safety officers responded to Fairview Estates for an assault. The victim—who had suffered numerous stab wounds—was found at a neighbor’s residence.
Knuth later turned herself in to Public Safety.
She was sentenced Tuesday to 3 to 10 years in prison.
