MUNISING, MI— A Grand Marais man has been sentenced for possessing child sexually abusive material and filming unclothed people without their knowledge.

Maxwell Lundquist, 30, was investigated in December following a probation violation. Police said he possessed devices containing child sexually abusive activity, along with multiple photos and videos of people taken through the windows of their homes and individuals using public bathrooms.

Lundquist originally faced 50 charges, but pleaded guilty in March to aggravated child sexually abusive material and two counts of capturing images of unclothed persons.

Lundquist was sentenced last week to 10 years, 10 months to 25 years in prison. He was credited for 170 days already served.
