SAULT STE. MARIE, MI— Two Sault Ste. Marie residents have been arrested in connection with an unsafe home case last year.

On September 11, a man walked into the city police department and asked for help. He was taken to the hospital.

Officers executed a search warrant at an Easterday Avenue house and found it unsanitary and structurally unfit to live in. Three people lived at the house.

This past Saturday, police arrested Angela Lynn Bell and Larry Louis Bell on outstanding warrants. They were both charged with second-degree child abuse and a misdemeanor charge of fourth-degree vulnerable adult abuse-domestic relationship.

Both remain lodged in the Chippewa County Correctional Facility.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
