Meth lab discovered in Marquette apartment

MARQUETTE, MI--   Marquette Police are investigating a meth lab found in a city apartment building.

Officers and the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team responded Tuesday around 1:30 p.m. to 1950 Presque Isle Avenue.  Maintenance workers had discovered a possible lab while doing work on an apartment.

Upon arrival officers confirmed the presence of meth components, although the lab was not active at the time.

UPSET detectives collected the components and cleaned up the site.

Possible suspects have been identified, and the investigation continues.
