Mqt Police looking for hit-and-run driver

MARQUETTE - Marquette City Police are looking for help in a hit-and-run incident on Wright Street.

Police say the incident happened today at about 3:10pm.

A Honda passenger car was slowing down and turning into the Board of Light and Power parking lot when it was struck from behind by a red Ford pick-up truck with a red plow and an orange light on top.

The impact sent the Honda into a snow bank.

The suspect pickup pulled into the parking lot and stopped briefly before fleeing the scene.

It was last seen on Ontario Street.

A passenger in the Honda received minor injuries and was treated and released at the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call Marquette Police at 228-0400.
