Meth cook discovered in Marquette apartment

MARQUETTE, MI--   Another meth lab has been uncovered in the City of Marquette.  

On Monday City Police and the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team responded to a tip about an active cook on the 200 block of Rock Street.  Upon arrival officers found a lab and numerous meth components in an apartment. 

A suspect was arrested and lodged in the Marquette County Jail for Domestic Violence from a previous incident.  Other charges are pending in connection with the discovered meth lab.

The Marquette Fire Department assisted at the scene. 

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
