Additional arrests made in Chippewa County drug ring

SAULT STE. MARIE, MI--   Two more people have been arrested in connection to a heroin/opiate ring in the Eastern U.P., and two others are wanted as fugitives.

The Tri-County Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested Ricky Munoz, 20, of Kincheloe on four counts of delivery of heroin and two counts of delivery of amphetamines. Brandi Lee, 20, of Sault Ste. Marie was picked up on a charge of delivery of morphine. 

Officers say Alex Armstrong, 24, of Sault Ste. Marie and Bertram Miller, 27, of the Soo are wanted for their parts in the drug ring.  Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts is asked to call Central Dispatch at 906-495-3312.  

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
